| ANDevices, Inc. is a leading provider of photonic
devices to the FTTH, ROADM and long-haul communication markets. Our
operations are based on a silica-on-silicon platform technology which
is ideal for the integration of a large number of optical circuit
elements on a common substrate. Our technology platform can be exploited
to produce hybrid circuits including active devices such as detectors
and light sources. While we provide high performance AWG, VMUX, splitter
products for today’s demanding communication markets, we are
expanding our platform to include new applications such as dispersion
compensation, phase shift keying, and filters for ultra-dense systems.

Our key technical personnel are from PIRI who first commercialized
planar lightwave circuits (PLC) in the 1990s. Our team has experience
with all aspects of the design, test, measurement and assembly of
PLC components. We have been shipping field-grade splitters and
AWG Multiplexers/Demultiplexers for over 15 years. In addition to
our experience in volume production, our team is continuously advancing
planar lightwave circuit technology. We have rich experience working
with partners to further PLC products for new applications, such
as monolithic integration of MEMS with PLC and ROADM subsystem-on-a-chip.
All of our communication products are qualified to Telcordia GR-1221/1209-CORE
requirements.
